If you want to thrive you have to embrace positivism in your life. The truth is, there is too much negative energy in the world and they will come to you from all directions.

Through your life, you will meet a lot of people who make it their business to intrude and put you down. They will make you feel bad and they will keep you from achieving the things you want to achieve yourself. Most of the time without any reason or provocation from your part.

You will also encounter negative energy in the form of compromising situations and these circumstances will be instrumental to your downfall. There is too much negative energy going on around you, and by embracing its presence, you are allowing yourself to drown in negativity.

Never Accept Negativity as your Only Option

Although there’s a lot of negative energy around, you should not accept it as your only option. If you concentrate on the negative it is like you are not giving room for the positive to happen. You have to realize that there is so much more to your life.

Good things can happen and it can happen to you, but you have to learn how to beat the negative, to make room for the great things in your life. Otherwise, you will just saturate yourself with the negative and assume it as your reality.

How to Channel Positivity

A lot of positive things can happen to you, but you might be concentrating so much on the negative, so you fail to notice it. If you want to channel the positive energy in your life, here are some things that you can do:

1.       Surround yourself with positive people:

There are two kinds of people. People who make it their business to bring you down and people who will do all they can to inspire you to become a better version of yourself. You need to know how to distinguish between these two types of people so that you can avoid the negative folks and choose to surround yourself with positive people.

2.       Count your blessings:

Instead of putting your focus on the things you were not able to do and the mistakes that you have done in life, why not try to focus yourself on the opposite of failure. Sometimes, people have all the energy to count the things that they do not have but they do not make room for the good. Learn to count the blessing you receive instead of focusing on what you lack and still want. This will help give you a different understanding about life and it will help you appreciate your life, for what it is and what it is not.

3.       Visualize yourself as a winner:

You may have not done anything grand yet, but allow yourself to dream. The power of visualization has been proven effective and if you want to attract positive energy into your life, you will have to develop the power to picture yourself as a winner.

4.       Always see the bright side of things:

Problems are not good, but these things happen all the time and you cannot let it consume you. Instead of dwelling on the bad stuff, you will have to learn to turn the negative situations into positive ones that you can use for your own gain. There is always a light shining at the end of the tunnel, and you just have to get out of there to see it.


Never accept negative situations or events as your only options. Surround yourself with positive people, visualize you reaching your goals and always see the bright side of any outcome and you will take a big step towards your very own happiness. Embrace the positive side of things and you will do great.
